The Last Case of Benedict Fox is a metroidvania, action-adventure game with an heavy emphasis on exploration and puzzle solving. Control a detective bound to a demon and solve the mystery behind the murder of a couple and the disappearance of their child. The gameplay is a mix of exploration, platforming traversal and combat against monsters, demons and cultist with a lovecraftian inspiration. Despite the good looks and promising concept the game has some annoying bugs and a not so smooth combat which is a shame. Maybe with some patches the experience gets better making it worth the time and money.
