    About this game

    Summum Aeterna is a fast-paced Metroidvania rogue-lite action-adventure game developed by Aeternum Game Studios S.L The prequel to Aeterna Noctis it combines world crawler mechanics never seen before in the genre, takes the role of the King of Darkness a mighty and powerful and badass warlord condemned to eternal life, you will have to explore uncharted territories populated with treasures, traps, hordes of enemies, and powerful bosses.

     
    • Even though you may be immortal you can still be defeated. You will have to start your adventure over and over again, but don’t panic you will be able to keep some of the stuff and upgrades you earned, like your progression in the skill tree as well as the world improvements.
    • The worlds and levels you play on work on a seed system each time you start a new run, It generates a unique environment with different enemy behavior, special events, and “seed genes” These can vary between positive and negative they will determine the dangers, encounters, and rewards you will get.
    • The key to survival is killing everything you see, using every weapon you can get your hands on from swords, pistols, and scythes. Pick a starting weapon at the start and switch it for a better one you find later on.
    • Each asset, enemy, NPC, and animation has been hand-drawn using traditional 2D animation techniques from the most diminutive chest to the most giant bosses.
