• Send your family out to explore and gather resources, then recruit outsiders with different personalities integrating them into your shelter life and earn their loyalty.

Sheltered is unquestionably inspired by Fallout Shelter but it’s much more challenging and complex. It’s too complex for its own good and a lot is left to chance. It could also use more action. Over time, I am confident Unicube will make Sheltered very good but a lot of factors have to perfectly align to experience Sheltered’s goodness at once.

Right now Sheltered is the most fun when you’re just starting out, and it gets less fun as you go along, but its developers are still working on the game and accepting feedback, so maybe they’ll adjust the difficulty and add some end-game content in their upcoming patches. Regardless, Sheltered is fun enough right now to be worth its budget price.
