About this game

Be the villainous god in Ruinarch! Twist lives with hilarious curses, make villagers werewolves, or turn them against bards. When the chaos is cooked, unleash plagues and spells to start a wicked new world!

 
  • Choose from three overlord Archetypes, each offering unique ways to wreak havoc.
  • Create chaotic scenarios like poisonous meteor explosions or brainwash villagers into secret cultists to do your bidding.
  • Meddle with villagers’ lives, spread rumors, afflict heroes with curses like Lycanthropy, and watch as relationships crumble and chaos ensues.
  • Infect villagers with a deadly plague to turn them into zombies, spreading fear and chaos. Afflict villagers with Vampirism or Lycanthropy to unleash creatures of the night.

Ruinarch has such depth, imagination and replay-ability that it’s simply amazing – If I happened to lose a scenario, I was immediately encouraged to try again. If when I won, then I dived right back in because the next experience would be a totally different experience due to the nature of the villagers and the special abilities chosen.
