About this game

Night Book is an interactive FMV game developed by the prolific Wales Interactive famous for their other FMV games such as late shift, five dates, the complex, etc. The story follows a translator named Loralyn as she struggles to keep her family together amidst her pregnancy, part-time job, and taking care of her mentally ill father at home. She eventually finds a job translating for a mother and son, it is here where she encounters the strange occult book that alters the course of her life forever.

• Although there is only one central narrative there are multiple branching paths in total with 220 scenes and 15 different endings.

Narrative-based adventures are always enjoyable, and the FMV variant has really come into its own lately. Night Book is another solid entry from Wales Interactive, with a fun, spooky tale and great acting that really sells the experience. It’s short enough to play through in an evening, and repeat plays are enjoyable thanks to the number of scenes and endings available to find.
