Tagged as a MMORPG with a great potential, New World Aeternum can't keep up with the expectations. Offering a vast open world, fantastic graphics, a long gameplay, it's also quiet complex and not intuitive enough for new players. Despite of that, it's a worthy fantasy RPG to discover if you like the genre.
Here is the Amazon's big bet on AAA games, with a long-term strategy for multiple platforms and an MMO. Some of the choices have made some people in the community unhappy, for example closing zones, dealing with late-game content or choices to please console players. Overall, the game is still really good, the community is still active and updates keep coming. To sum up, there are disagreements, but as with any good game, Amazon seems to be on the right track.
New World is a successful MMO by Amazon set in a fantasy version of the new world age in a lost island with lots of mysteries and enemies, visually the setting of the game is stunning. The console release brings us a rename of the game and lots of improvements and updates so it is a good moment for old players to come black and new ones to discover the many possibilities of this awesome game.
