A first-person shooter with different missions, classes and on top of that, hordes. If you're familiar with games like WWZ and Space Marine 2 you'll probably recognize the similarities when it comes to the hordes swarming in. John Carpenter's Toxic Commando is built for 4-player coop and besides all the weapons and abilities there's a good emphasis on vehicles to help traverse the map and fight the hordes.
Toxic Commando it's a co-op shooter that launched last week. You and your squad use heavily armed vehicles and big guns to mow down massive waves of zombies. It’s basically World War Z meets MudRunner with a kickass 80s synth soundtrack. It’s not reinventing the wheel, but if you want to turn off your brain and blast monsters with friends, it’s pure, messy fun.
An incredible game! Do you like violent games? Where you have to shoot everything you see, destroy monster nests, etc.? Go on, get it, it's great! You have weapons, and to be able to add accessories, you'll have to level them up. You'll also have a skill tree, so the more you play, the stronger you become! The game also offers several difficulty levels. So you'll never get bored.
Big boom, badaboom. Monsters are invading the world, and a group of mercenaries is going to try to wipe them out. That's the storyline! Then there's a very deliberate aspect to this cooperative FPS (up to 4 players, probably not as good in solo mode...): B-movie gore with trashy humor, wacky monsters, excessive, brutal action, and over-the-top staging. You can upgrade your character and your guns extensively. A great way to let off some steam?
John Carpenter's Toxic Commando is the bloodiest game I have ever seen, and that is good, I mean it is spectacular how cool the zombie massacres look and we all know we sometimes just need a game where to shoot and enjoy seeing everything bleed, burn and explode around us. Game can be played in co-op and a part of the devastating weapons we also have different vehicles used to travel the maps and to, oh my god, run over the zombie hordes. Definitely a very relaxing game to play.
