HYPERCHARGE: Unboxed has been available for PC for some years and now makes its way to Xbox consoles as well. It's a shooter that can be played in both 1st and 3rd person where you control a miniature toy soldier and set defenses against increasingly difficult waves of enemies. This mode can be played solo and with friends, locally or online, but there are also many online PvP modes for you to test your skills against other players.
It already has an audience on Steam. So HYPERCHARGE: Unboxed is a game for little and very big kids who love toys... alive. It's a 3rd-person arcade shooter with meticulous art direction, whose main game mode is tower defense. You can play as and customize dozens of different toys, there are different maps (garage, bedroom, toy store...), you can fight against waves solo or split-screen (offline), up to 4 players online, or 4vs4.
With its fun approach to FPS games, HYPERCHARGE: Unboxed surely deserves its success. Featuring single-player, multiplayer, co-op, and shared screen modes, this title lets you take the role of an action figure. It feels like returning to your childhood, and you carry these vibes throughout each match. The game features a multitude of action figures that you can also customize, and none of them are locked behind the paywall, which is rare nowadays.
