Horizon Zero Dawn is a kind of RPG and action game developed by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment.
This is the first game developed by Guerrilla Games Killzone since 2004 and the first attempt by this studio to provide a role-playing video game. The screenplay is written by John Gonzalez, head writer of Fallout: New Vegas before joining Guerrilla Games in 2013. In Horizon Zero Dawn, the player is Aloy, a warrior archer, operating in a post-apocalyptic world dominated by mechanized creatures especially dinosaurs.
The game therefore takes place in the distant future a thousand years in which human civilization has collapsed and where the robotic creatures dominate. These creatures are composed of electricity and metal, which prove to be essential to our Aloy heroine who can recover these resources on their bodies.
You will have many ways to defeat your enemies, traps, the arrows drawn arc, explosives or melee combat. You can also make new objects by collecting materials and machine parts. The game takes place in an open world which can be explored during your missions.
The landscape evolves with changing weather and day and night are taken into account, you will discover the changing scenery and break the monotony of your explorations. You will have the pleasure of discovering a game created by a company that has proven itself with killzone and will not fail to surprise us with this exciting new play.

Its a good game but the fight mechanics are a bit clunky, auto resolve in fights almost always go against you and the manual engage is far from transparent. That said it gives hours of pleasure expanding your empire. Reccomended if on sale.
