About this game

Gelly Break Deluxe is a co-op action-adventure platformer, a remake of the original Gelly Break from 3 years ago with new levels, additions that the team wanted to put in back then but couldn’t. With an established storyline/lore, all players who bought the original game will get this upgrade for free. You and your friend play as two Gellie’s conjoined together named Gel and Lee as they try to save their home planet from the mean evil blob. Both players must coordinate together to solve challenging platforming puzzles that require good synchronization, precise timing, and teamwork.

• While the game is best enjoyed in a couch co-op setting where you coordinate Gel and Lee’s movements with a friend, you can play it alone just makes it so that you control both of them making it an easier straightforward platformer.
• The game has in total 16 Levels split into 6 carefully designed worlds with each world having a unique and challenging boss fight.
• Gelly Break Deluxe is fully integrated with steam’s remote play together transforming its local multiplayer into an online experience play together with your friends anywhere.

Gelly Break Deluxe gave me what I expected from the game; It was a cute, colorful upbeat platformer. Its happy music, simple design, and couch co-op made its appeal evident for family or couple fun, but I do think it could benefit from online co-op so you could find others to play with if you happen to live alone. I did find the solo gameplay less challenging and frustrating and enjoyed my time playing the game in this mode much more overall.
