Nintendo shadowdropped version 1.7.0 which brings two new routes for Knockout Tour, a new feature for Photo Mode, along with the usual balance adjustments and bug fixes.
The Knockout Tour, which is the best thing to happen to Mario Kart, has added two new rallies for players to race through. The first is the Drill Rally which connects Wario Shipyard and Bowser’s Castle. The second is Boomerang Rally which then connects Salty Salty Speedway and Whistlestop Summit.
These new routes will only become selectable once a player clears one Knockout Tour rally. As per the update’s video, 6 more routes are planned but no release window was announced.
