Even though EA sports titles are quite expensive and heavily focused on microtransactions, there are still pretty solid games. The upcoming EA SPORTS FC 25 will feature an overworked tactical system, and will bring back some leagues and clubs. It's hard to rate the game upon its release, but it looks and it should please football fans.
EA is not giving up on football and is proposing a number of additions for the 2025 version of his game. In terms of tactics, players will be able to be assigned a specific role according to their abilities (e.g. leader for a central midfielder), which will change their behaviour and positioning. Expect to see a reworking of simple dribbling and blind passing (more in line with the player's level). Better integrated women's football and a 5v5 rush mode are also notable new features.
