Nintendo has released a faithful remaster with Donkey Kong Country Returns HD. Originally released in 2010 on Wii and 3DS, the game does not offer any new levels, but includes all of the original content. It is smoother, prettier, more colourful, and you can now carry up to 9 items per level instead of 3, for even more fun. It's a pleasure to (re)discover the game, with the platforming we love with Donkey and Diddy Kong!
This version of the game features not only more polished visuals, but also a great level design that make the whole adventure very enjoyable. Donkey Kong Country Returns HD can be completed within 12 hours or so, but additional collectibles add to the replay value. The gameplay remains balanced, not being too easy and not making you sweat every second. In short, it's an excellent platformer!
