The Zephyr and its crew are called to a mystery distress call from Mars, and the youngest astronaut ever from Earth, Kathy Johannson, joins them for one final mission: to recover the ARK colony ships that the enigmatic Outward has stolen, and with them, to secure the survival of the human race.
Deliver Us Mars offers a refreshing sci-fi adventure with an entertaining, emotional story at the forefront. It ups the scale from its predecessor and manages to reach for the stars relatively unscathed.
With an excellent and mature story going over current themes, Deliver Us Mars is the game to get for those looking to be immersed in a believable and personal space opera. While the gameplay is a definite improvement over that of its predecessor, the simplicity of some puzzles (which often feel like a distraction from the story), the excessive linearity, and the many technical issues prevent the game by KeokeN Interactive from being a proper masterpiece.

From the same team that brought us the quite appreciated Deliver Us The Moon, Deliver us Mars put us in the role of Kathy to join Zephyr ship and its crew to once again try to save humanity from extinction, now even closer then ever.
The release date is set to early February but not much is known about it, although you should have a rough idea if you ever played or saw enough content on the first game. I’d say wait just a bit more, although the heavy discounts reported on various sites is rather tempting for fan of the genre and especially the first game.

It’s nice to see more games that are about being alone in space but not as explicit about the enemies and antagonists.
