Deathtrap Dungeon is a action–adventure video game developed by Asylum Studios and published by Eidos Interactive.
This third person adventure is based off the adventure gamebook by Ian Livingstone with the same name. Given the option or either the Amazon “Red Lotus” or the Barbarian “Chaindog” you will explore dungeons and defeat monsters at the invitation of a wizard.
There are 38 different levels to explore with over 50 different monsters to combat. Be careful of the hordes of monsters awaiting you and be prepared. You will be able to find different types of weapons and spells to use to your advantage. At the very heart of the dungeon you will find Melkor, a mighty dragon, who you must defeat so that you may collect gold and glory for yourself.
Though the graphics are less detailed and polished then we could hope for the gameplay itself is engaging and eventful. Will you take on the challenge of the dungeon and have what it takes to emerge victorious?
