About Crawl

Fight through dungeons where friends control monsters and traps. Gain loot, level up your hero, and survive attacks. If a friend defeats you, they become the hero. The goal is to gather enough power to face them all at once as they control the limbs of a massive final boss.

• All the enemies and hazards are controlled by your friends. This turns the dungeon into a direct, competitive battle between players.
• The human player finds weapons and magic. The monster players can change their creatures into over 60 more powerful forms, like demons and skeletons.
• The game has a 2D pixel art look with a dark, scary fantasy style and horror themes.
• Play on one screen with up to three other people. You can also play alone against computer-controlled monsters.

Crawl Reviews

Powerhoof have managed to tweak and refine a game that executes on an intriguing premise. It can be a little hard to follow but, with a group of friends, it’s difficult not to buy into the chaos. The hard turns are what this game seems to deliver well and, whilst the AI can provide some capable sparring partners, this game is best served in the company of others.
