Broadsword Age of Chivalry is an action simulation, turn-based strategy video game developed by Hoplite Research LLC and published by KISS ltd and Funbox Media Ltd.

Set in the Middle Ages, you have to finish mission after mission to move forward in the game. This is a turn-based type of game flow where you get to command one of the four playable factions namely the French, English, German and Spanish. Each faction will have a variety of battle units like archers, pikeman, knights and more. There will also be a special “heroes” unit for each faction that you will be able to control. These special heroes yield special powers that could spell the battle’s success.

There are two campaigns available that you will have to finish. Campaign one serves as a tutorial, you will be controlling one of the special heroes, Joan of Arc, and you will help her battle the English and drive them out from her homeland. The second campaign is where you help another one of the special heroes, King Edward III as he wages war against King Philip IV to reclaim the land that is for his people.

Strategize every move you make and observe the surroundings. There will we weather conditions and terrain to consider. A lot of research would need to be done to increase your tech levels and construction as well to be able to grow your empire.
