The world of battlefield 2042 is set in the near future in a “what if” scenario where uncontrolled global climate change caused much of society to collapse, causing a massive refugee crisis of 1.2 billion people in both civilians and stateless soldiers called non-patriated these soldiers are in turn used by the only two remaining superpowers on earth USA and Russia to wage war with each other over the earth’s remaining resources.
It’s a true evolution of the series, one that pushes back against a stagnation that threatened the series’ future. It won’t be for everyone, but for players who crave imagination and fun from their Battlefields, it will give them everything that they crave and more.
Battlefield 2042 is an excellent effort and filled with a ton of competitive multiplayer content at launch with much more planned in the near future. There are some technical issues such as respawns and visual bugs to sort out, and some game modes and specialists might need some tweaks, but DICE is off to a great start and Battlefield 2042 should likely be relevant and popular for years to come.

I bought this game thinking it can be library shared which it says in the description, and after I bought it, I found out it was not possible to library share, I was promised a gift card as a refund, which I still have not received, I'm quite saddened and disappointed, I wish support was also faster at responding.
