The Extended Edition of the earlier released game, Afterfall Insanity, features a more dynamic and intuitive fight system as well as improved animations in terms of gameplay and cut-scenes. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world in the year 2035, 20 years after the Third World War. During this time, citizens of The Republic are in search for a shelter, and only a few of them were able to find theirs behind the gates of “Glory”.

The once considered haven for the citizens have unfortunately turned into a prison, and they’re trapped underground within claustrophobic spaces, with no hope of escape. Your mission is to save the residents of the Shelter and find a new safe haven for them, and at the same time take on the challenge of fighting off evil lurking within the underground city.
