Battlefield 6 will launch on October 10 across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, and players can already look forward to the start of Season 1, as Battlefield Labs and EA have revealed a roadmap packed with post-launch content.

Announcing the roadmap, EA promised in a press release that “All gameplay-impacting features will be free or earnable as part of our commitment to fair play and access for all players.”

What’s Coming in Battlefield 6 Season 1

Season 1 kicks off with the first of three massive updates designed to keep players engaged through the early months after release. Players can expect new maps, weapons, and modes.

In total, EA has revealed six new weapons, two new maps, and limited-time events as the season progresses towards the end of 2025.

It all kicks off October 28 with the “Rogue Ops” update, which introduces the Blackwell Fields map across all modes, a new 4v4 mode, new weapons, and the APC Traverser Mark 2 land vehicle.

On November 18, players can look forward to the “California Resistance” update, which adds the Eastwood map, new 8v8 Sabotage mode, and a new pistol, shotgun, and weapon attachment. EA is also bringing back Battle Pickups.

The final confirmed update is “Winter Offensive,” launching December 9 and bringing with it the limited-time Ice Lock Empire State map, the Ice Lock freeze mechanic, and the Ice Climbing Axe melee weapon.
