Atomic Heart developer Mundfish has announced the game has hit 10 million players since its release in February 2023. The developer has revealed another DLC is coming for the FPS.
Announcing the milestone achievement on X, Mundfish told fans the team is “just getting started” as more content is already in development for the story-driven shooter.
Atomic Heart’s Growing Success
Mundfish’s debut AAA title launched on February 21, 2023, and its success across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC earned it over 60 Game of the Year awards, with three story-driven DLCs already available and another on the way.
In its post on its social media account, Mundfish describes the team’s “dream has become a reality beyond anything we imagined. This achievement is the result of our team’s relentless dedication, bold vision, and unwavering focus on quality.” Most importantly, Mundfish says, “we’re just getting started.”

What to Expect from the Next DLC
Atomic Heart is set to receive a fourth DLC. While Mundfish has not yet officially announced it or provided a release date, we can look at the timing of their previous three story-driven DLCs, which have typically been released every 6 to 12 months. The last DLC, titled “Enchantment Under the Sea,” was released in January 2025. Therefore, we can expect the next expansion to be available sometime between June 2025 and January 2026.
The previous three DLCs have all focused on the protagonist, P-3, and his quest to uncover the secrets of NORA. Each DLC introduces new locations, story content, weapons, customization options, and enemies.
