Everything New in ARC Raiders Latest Update: Flashpoint, Riven Tides & What’s Coming in 2026

Embark Studios has kept ARC Raiders on a monthly update rhythm since launch, and 2026 is the most packed the game has been. If you’ve taken a break from the Rust Belt lately, or you’re thinking about picking up an Arc Raiders for Sale before the next content wave lands, here’s a full breakdown of what’s changed, what’s arrived on March 31, and what’s on the horizon after that.

The Escalation Roadmap: Four Months, Four Updates

The Escalation Roadmap: Four Months, Four Updates

In January 2026, Embark published its content plan for the first half of the year under the name Escalation. It lays out four monthly updates, Headwinds, Shrouded Sky, Flashpoint, and Riven Tides, with each one bringing new enemies, map conditions, player projects, quests, and gameplay items. Embark confirmed that all gameplay content across the roadmap is free for all players, with cosmetics being the only paid additions.

Headwinds (January) and Shrouded Sky (February)

Headwinds launched January 27 with a couple of notable additions. The first was Solo vs. Squads, a new matchmaking toggle for level 40 and above players that lets solo Raiders queue into squad lobbies in exchange for a 20% XP bonus. The second was Bird City, a minor map condition exclusive to Buried City where birds nest in chimneys and leave high-value loot for players to fight over. A Trophy Display player project also came with the update, tasking Raiders with hunting increasingly dangerous ARC groups and submitting their parts for long-term rewards.

Shrouded Sky, released February 24, was significantly larger. It introduced the Hurricane map condition, a weather system that speeds you up when running with the wind, slows you down against it, and cuts visibility across Blue Gate, Buried City, Spaceport, and Dam Battlegrounds.

Two new ARC enemy types arrived alongside it: the Firefly, a flying unit that corners players with flame attacks, and the Comet, a spherical ARC that locks onto you and self-destructs with area damage. Shrouded Sky also brought a free Surgeon Raider Deck, a new Expedition Window, facial hair customization, and a reworked area in Dam Battlegrounds with a new Controlled Access Zone packed with high-value loot.

Flashpoint (March 31)

Flashpoint is the third Escalation update and released March 31, 2026 across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Confirmed additions included a new ARC threat, a lightning-themed map condition, a new player project, and an overhaul of Scrappy, the game’s mechanical rooster companion. Shredders, previously limited to the Stella Montis map, are also confirmed to start appearing in other locations including the underground tunnels of Blue Gate. As with previous Escalation updates, new quests, feats, trials, and events round out the patch.

Riven Tides (April)

Riven Tides is the largest update in the Escalation series and is expected to land on the last Tuesday of April. It brings the first entirely new map since Stella Montis launched in November 2025, with roadmap imagery pointing strongly to a coastal setting. Players can also expect a large new boss-tier ARC enemy, another major map condition, and the opening of the third Expedition window, which lets you reset and replay the Expedition system for the first time since January.

What Comes After April

What Comes to Arc Raiders After April

Embark has confirmed more content is coming beyond Riven Tides. Design lead Virgil Watkins told GamesRadar that the studio plans several new maps throughout 2026, spanning a range of sizes, with each one built around new map conditions, enemy types, and loot tables specific to that environment. A follow-up roadmap covering the rest of 2026 is expected once Riven Tides is out.

A Good Time to Jump In

Flashpoint dropped March 31 and a brand-new map follows in April, making this one of the better moments to get into ARC Raiders before the content slate grows further. You can pick up a key using LootBar Game Keys, which is a clean, straightforward option if you want a game key from a reliable store with fast digital delivery. The game supports full cross-play across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
