In case you missed it, Far Cry 5’s newest DLC, Lost on Mars is out now. Lost on Mars is the second content released for Far Cry 5 post-launch, following the Hours of Darkness expansion which was released in June. Part of the Far Cry 5 Season Pass, players travel to Mars as Nick Rye where he and Hurk will do their best to eradicate alien spiders. The duo will also try to restore power to ANNE, a futuristic AI representing “humanity’s last line of defense.”All Far Cry 5 players can now also access new Mars-themed assets in Far Cry Arcade.

Bungie announces Destiny 2’s summer holiday event! Solstice of Heroes will start on July 31st, and this event allows players to 400-power armor before the Forsaken expansion releases on September 4. The Solstice of Heroes represents a memorial and a celebration of the past year. Solstice of Heroes will offer limited-time Redux missions — important story missions altered in one way or another, and the five missions offered this year will be: Homecoming, Spark, Payback, 1AU and Chosen.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 has unveiled a new trailer showcasing its Zombies experience. The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies Chaos story trailer introduces Scarlett Rhodes who is out to solve her father’s mysterious disappearance. He may have been eaten by a zombie tiger. Three full Zombie experiences will be available when Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 releases. They are: IX, Voyage of Despair, and Blood of the Dead. The game is set to be released October 9th on PC and consoles. Its beta will take place September.

PUBG PC Update Adds Custom Match Beta

PUBG Corp. has rolled out Patch number eighteen for the PC version of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds and it is available in the game’s test servers. The patch includes the ability to create custom matches among other updates. It is a work-in-progress as of now and is available in open beta in the game’s test servers. This allows players to make adjustments to a variety of settings in order to make their own custom game mode. Once this feature is stable it will go on to the live servers.

Fear the Wolves Early Access Delayed, Closed Beta Extended

Fear the Wolves was supposed to be released on Early Access July 18th, however, Vostok Games has announced that the game will instead arrive later this summer. The game’s closed beta has also been extended. The delay was a joint decision between Focus Home Interactive and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. veterans Vostok after “listening to the expectations and feedback,” of closed beta players. The game will remain in closed beta until it’s ready to be released on Early Access.

Overwatch’s hamster ball gets an official release date! Hammond, the 28th hero with the code name Wrecking Ball in-game, is currently playable on the Overwatch Public Test Realm. He is set to be officially released on July 24th on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. Wrecking Ball comes with a number of skins giving him a diverse range of looks. He has a mech that he can transform into a giant ball that can roll around the battlefield.

Rare and Microsoft have announced the release date for Sea of Thieves’ Cursed Sails DLC. The expansion is set to be launched on July 31st. The DLC introduces terrifying ships with skeletal crews, a three-person Brigantine ship and Alliances that help you take on larger challenges in return for similarly huge rewards. You’ll want to act quickly if you want to make the most of Cursed Sails, though — the campaign associated with the DLC lasts just three weeks. The Cursed Sails expansion is available on PC and Xbox One.

Divinity Original Sin 2 is getting a new character and it is a squirrel named Sir Lora, the Squirrel Knight. Sir Lora is a part of the Knights of Drey which is the “order of furry knights who believe in the coming of the Great Acorn.” With this new companion, new skill-crafting recipes will be unlocked and you will be tasked with the quest to discover the Great Acorn. Sir Lora will be debuting in the definitive edition starting August 31 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

No Man’s Sky Shows Off Multiplayer Mode

Hello Games will be releasing a major update for No Man’s Sky on July 24th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Called No Man’s Sky Next, the update will add a host of new features, including a “full multiplayer experience” that will let players team up with friends and interact with random space travelers. Additionally, this also gives players the option to play in first- or third-person view, and give them the ability to command fleets of ships as they explore the universe. The update will be free for owners of the game on PC and PS4.

Ion Maiden Announces 2019 Release and Online Beta

3D Realm’s retro FPS game, Ion Maiden, will be launching by 2019 and before that, a beta will be made available. Developer Voidpoint would want to make sure that the best possible experience is available for the game through a multiplayer beta which will take place close to the game’s launch. Those who purchased the early access release on Steam will have invites for this. A Founders Edition of the game is available and will only have 500 copies. It will come in an old-school big box that contains a bunch of goodies like a floppy disk USB drive.

Dauntless Hits 2 Million Players Ahead of Coming Expansion

Phoenix Labs shared some amazing news as their game Dauntless has reached two million players since it started its open beta in May. Also, there is a massive new content update called The Coming Storm which is set to evolve the monstrous ecosystem on August 9. This new content will have the Ostian Dreadnaught crash into the game’s central hub offering new quests, new tech, and stories as well as the NPCs that will provide them. The numbers made is not bad for the game’s early version.
