Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4 Players Get Free Content

Battlefield 1’s summer update is out now, and it comes with free content for Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4 players. Up for grabs for Battlefield 1 players is the Apocalypse DLC which was released back in February. It comes with the following maps: Somme, Caporetto, and Passchendaele. It also comes with the Air Assault mode. Battlefield 4 players, on the other hand, will get Naval Strike and China Rising. All these are free for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Sea of Thieves’ Cursed Sails Update Out Now

The Cursed Sails update for Sea of Thieves is out now, and in case you didn’t know, here’s what you can expect from this update. First, the update now adds AI-controlled enemy ships that are manned by skeleton crews. It also adds a 3-week-long campaign, so if you want to take part in it, you better do so now. The new Brigantinne ship, which accommodates three pirates, was also added. And finally, this update also added the Alliances feature which makes working together in the game official.

Donut County Releases August 28th

Developer Ben Esposito has announced the release date for the upcoming puzzle game Donut County. The game will e released August 28th on PC, PS4, and even on iOS. Donut County lets you take on the role of raccoons that control a hole which sucks up objects such as human trash, and gradually expands until it can suck up an entire town. There’s no information whether the game will also come to Android and Xbox One at this time.

Rocket League’s Ultimate Edition Out This Month

Rocket League gets a new retail version, and it’s set to come out this month. Rocket League Ultimate Edition contains the base game and includes all 16 DLC Battle Cars as well as a cool collection of cosmetic items. The Rocket League Ultimate Edition launches August 28th, and will be available on consoles only as a physical release. This will also likely coincide with the release of the Rocket Pass which brings seasonal content to the game.

WWE 2K19 Introduces New Towers Challenges

WWE 2K19 is getting a new Towers mode where players have to fight against a number of opponents in succession. There will be different conditions and limitations that will test the player’s skill per opponent. This new mode will come with two variants which are Gauntlet where players must fight and finish the session without loosing, and Steps where players are able to battle within their own pace. WWE 2K19 will launch on October 19 available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Sea of Thieves Has Over 5 Million Players Now

Sea of Thieves was able to reach a new milestone as announced by Rare! The game recently reached five million players setting sail in the game since it launched in March this year. Also, along with that announcement was the reveal of the second major free content called Cursed Sails. This is the biggest update yet for the game and it brings new skeleton ships, a three-player Brigantine ship as well as form alliances with other players on the big challenges for a range of unique rewards.

The Elder Scrolls Online’s Wolfhunter DLC Gets a Release Date

The Elder Scrolls Online has a new DLC coming and it is called Wolfhunter! The release date of the expansion was recently announced and it will be on August 13, 2018, for PC and August 28, 2018, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This DLC will be for free for ESO Plus members and can be purchased from the in-game Crowne Store for non-members. Wolfhunter will come with two new challenges called Moon Hunter Keep and March of Sacrifices. Here, players get to explore the Elder Scrolls world with other players.

TerraTech Release Announced

After being in Steam’s Early Access since 2015, TerraTech will finally step out of it and will release as a full game on August 10th for PC and Xbox One and August 14th for PlayStation 4. The game was able to amass over four hundred thousand players during its Early Access stint and it has also received a host of improvements and additions even a complete overhaul of its UI and control system. The game offers a host of modes like Campaign, Creative Mode, Gauntlet, and PVP multiplayer.

God of War Significantly Exceeded Expectations, Sony Says

Sony recently had a financial conference call for investors and the Chief Financial Officer Hiroki Totoki shared some interesting information about the performance of the PlayStation games. One of which is the yearly forecast for PlayStation 4 software sales, where the game God of War by Sony Interactive Entertainment Santa Monica Studios was able to “significantly exceed expectations” other factors contributing to the increase are some third party titles that had been revealed during E3.

Sword Legacy Omen Release Date Revealed

The turn-based tactical RPG, Sword Legacy: Omen finally has a release date which is on August 14 for PC. The game also has a Deluxe Edition available that will come with a digital art book, wallpapers and the Sword Legacy: Omen OST. Sword Legacy: Omen features a bloody retelling of the King Arthur story where you play as Uther Pendragon with his band of misfits, seeking vengeance across Broken Britannia for his fallen lord. You must also recover your lord’s lost sword — the Excalibur.

F1 2018: All the Details So Far

F1 2017 has had a great run and F1 2018’s launch is just around the corner. Here are what we know so far…First of all the game will launch on August 24th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game will feature a revamped Career Mode, an R and D makeover, being able to choose a rival, an ERS management system, a new suspension system, more classic cars like the 1976 Ferrari 312 T4 and the 1976 McLaren M23-D, as well as, new tracks like the Hockenheim and the French Grand Prix at Circuit Paul Ricard.

South Park The Fractured But Whole gets the Bring the Crunch DLC this week. The DLC brings with it new areas, new enemies, and new powers. Bring the Crunch revolves around occult and supernatural themes and is aptly set on a camping park, complete with South Park-style horror parodies. This completes the 3-piece promised package of the game’s season pass with 2 story DLCs and a challenge room. Bring the Crunch is out now on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch.

Stardew Valley Multiplayer Added in Free Update

You can now play Stardew Valley with your friends! The popular farming simulation role-playing game has received its new update which includes the much-awaited multiplayer mode. This feature is currently available for PC only at this time. The multiplayer mode is actually a 4-player co-op, that’s similar to single-player, but with 1 to 3 other players playing together to achieve a goal. In addition, any single-player game can be converted to co-op by having a host player build cabins.

Yakuza 0 Out Now on PC

Yakuza 0 is available now on PC via Steam! This game is the prequel to the Yakuza series, and is a fan favorite. This is also the first game in the franchise to come to PC, with Yakuza Kiwami also releasing on PC on a still undisclosed date. Yakuza 0 on PC will include enhanced features which include 4K resolution, unlocked framerate, full controller support, and remappable keys. You can check out the game on Steam now.

PUBG Launches Bug-Fixing Patch for PC

PUBG Corp has released a new patch to its test servers which addresses various quality-of-life issues and bugs. Update #19, as this patch is called, includes some tweaks to management of inventory, specifically for weapon attachments. Improvements on the Erangel and Miramar maps were also made, including the addition of dynamic weather effects. The update also includes the ability to place markers without opening the map. Fortnite Adds Wacky Mode in Latest Patch

Fortnite’s v5.10 is set to blow players away… literally. The new update will see the return of the Guided Missile and a new mode called Fly Explosives. The new mode provides all players with jetpacks to duke it out with explosive-only weapons. This is a limited-time custom mode so make sure you don’t miss out on the explosive mayhem. Save the World will aslo be getting a new Spyglass Sniper Rifle that’s both stylish and powerful. It’s described as a “powerful single shot sniper that packs a punch.”

Dead or Alive 6 Reveals Diego

Dead or Alive 6 has unveiled a new character, and it’s no other than newcomer Diego! Diego grew up in New York’s back alleys and is a street brawler. He joined street matches in order to raise money to support his ailing mother. His moves include headbutts as well as tackles. Also revealed is the teakwondo master Rig, a returning antagonist from Dead or Alive 5. DEAD OR ALIVE 6 is slated for release in early 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam.

New Lords of the Fallen 2 Dev to Start From Scratch

Lords of the Fallen 2’s new developer, Defiant Studios, is starting over work for the game from scratch. The studio is reportedly going to scrap all pre-production work done by Deck 13. Defiant Studios’ Managing Director David Grijns said that this will be a fresh start, and will really be a reset. They also have a completely new team on board, and they will be using a new engine. The studio has not nailed down a concept at this time, and we can expect Lords of the Fallen 2 to launch probably in two years’ time.

Divinity Original Sin 2 Gets Revamped Arena Mode

Divinity Original Sin 2’s Definitive Edition will include a revamped version of the game’s Arena Mode. Arena Mode gives players a break from the game’s story mode and get them to dive deep into the game’s tactical turn-based combat. The revamped version contains solo gameplay, online multiplayer PVP, as well as pass-the-controller Hot Seat Mode. It introduces 16 characters to the game that each have their own sets of skills and abilities. All these and more will be coming on August 31st for PS4 and Xbox One.

Middle-Earth Shadow of War Gets a Definitive Edition

Warner Bros. is giving those who have not gotten their copies of Middle-Earth Shadow of War a treat, as the game is getting a definitive edition, and with no microtransactions! Middle-Earth Shadow of War Definitive Edition will be available starting August 26th, and will include all of the game’s DLC, including two major story campaigns. Artifact Release Date Announced

Valve’s digital collectible card game is set to be released on Steam! Artifact is a Dota 2-inspired card game and it is set to be released on November 28th for PC, MacOS, and Linux. The game will also come to iOS and Android devices late 2019. Artifact features over 280 cards in its shipping set. Players can also buy and sell their cards through the Steam Community Marketplace. Artifact is a game from designer Richard Garfield who was known as the creator of Magic: The Gathering.

Here are the games you should watch for this month! Yakuza 0 launched August 1st, while we have Overcooked 2 launching August 7th. Monster Hunter World comes to PC on August 9th. Madden NFL kicks off on August 10th, along with We Happy Few. World of Warcraft’s Battle for Azeroth expansion as well as the final season of The Walking Dead will both be out on August 14th.
