Aliens: Fireteam Elite – Season 1: Phalanx Launched – What to expect

Aliens: Fireteam Elite launched back in August, and now Cold Iron Studios has officially released Season One, which adds the Phalanx class and other content to the hit PvE shooter.

PHALANX CLASS

The Season One update is available to download now and adds the new Phalanx class to the game, available to all players for free.

The Phalanx class is a moving tank with a collapsible shield capable of defending a position.

However, all that extra stopping power comes at a price, as you can only wield one-handed weapons while holding the shield.

Season One also comes with the following four new weapons:

• L59 Minigun
• N79 Eva Laser
• L33 Pike Rifle
• Type 88 Heavy Assault Rifle

There are also additional weapon decals and colors, and accessories.

WEY-YU ARMOURY PACK

Along with the Season One launch comes the Wey-Yu Armoury Pack DLC, which adds the following content:

• 12 Wey-Yu themed Armor Skins (2 Per Class)
• 4 Head Accessories
• 4 Weapon Colorways
• 4 Decals
• 4 Emotes
• 1 Consumable Pack 1 Credit Pack
• 1 Challenge Card Pack
