AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative begins as Special Agents Mizuki and Ryuki are called upon after the left side of a corpse is found.

Six years before, the right side of the same corpse was discovered, and this latest discovery is another clue leading to the Half Body serial killer.

But why has the left side of the corpse turned up now? Why is it fresh? The answers will lead Mizuki and Ryuki on a dark path of which neither of them are prepared.

Special Agent Mizuki Okiura is a Psyncer, someone who is capable of infiltrating the brains of suspects as she conducts her investigations and interrogations.

Supporting Mizuki is Special Agent Kuruto Ryuki who, although a rookie investigator, has an unmatched drive to solve cases as he tries to run away from a painful past.

Both Mizuki and Ryuki have AIs implanted in their eye sockets, and both will call on these AIs to help them read emotions, solve clues, and stay focused.
