1. No Man’s Sky NEXT Update Launch Date and Times
As mentioned earlier the NEXT Update will be available on July 24, 2018 at the Microsoft store at 2 PM GMT or 3 PM Continental European time. PlayStation 4 players would have to wait two hours later as theirs would be available at 4 PM GMT.
2. New Multiplayer Mode!
Yes, a new multiplayer mode is available which will let you team up with three other friends to explore the universe together. You can help each other stay alive or gang up on others together in order to survive. You can do things together like build shelters, fight together as a pirate or a wingman and even race exocrafts across the crazy alien terrains. You can even create racetracks which you can share with others online.
3. Large Scale Graphical Overwork
Players are now able to have a look around the No Man’s Sky world from either the third-person or first-person perspective, that is when you are on foot or on the ship. Visuals, in general, have been improved with the planetary rings and the deep space itself has been made more beautiful than ever.
Improvements to the environmental textures can also be seen, which makes your environment pop up even more. Significant details have also been added to the buildings, NPCs, and ships.
4. Base Building Mechanics Upgraded
Bigger and better bases can now be accommodated especially in the four-person play. Bases can also be created anywhere with a lot of base parts to choose from. Players are able to design as well as own several bases.
5. More Accessible Freighters
Players are able to assemble and upgrade a fleet of frigates right at the bridge of their freighter. Send them out on different missions to pick up things that you need. An improved freighter base building is also available, also multiplayer missions from the Galactic Commission Station that can now be done with friends on your ship.
