The formula is the same: cooperative play (with up to four Marines this time) in a third-person shooter. And you blast aliens—and more specifically, Xenomorphs—left and right. The tactical possibilities offered by co-op have been enhanced; technically, the game is “not bad,” but it lacks optimization, the weapons lack impact and feel, and overall, it lacks originality. Still, it’s a good shooter.
Aliens Fireteam Elite 2 brings back the co-op 3rd person shooter experience in the Alien universe, so we chose a class from the several available and together with our friends we complete missions and try to survive the xenomorphs, and it won’t be easy at all. With the experience from the previous game this one aims to be the best possible one, perfect to feel the menace of the aliens in every corner and hear your friends scream in the claustrophobic dark corridors.
