Bully Online Mod Launching in Early Access This December

Rockstar’s classic boarding school action game is getting a revival via a Bully Online mod. The fan-made mod launches in December and transforms the game into an online multiplayer experience, similar to GTA Online.

The upcoming Bully Online mod will feature multiplayer servers where players jump in and explore a sandbox world, compete in mini-games such as races, and customize their houses.

Announcing the project, YouTuber Swegta explained that the mode has “been in the making for a very long time” and will launch to the public in Early Access in December.

What Is the Bully Online Mod?

Following BullyMP, a previous attempt to take Rockstar’s game online, Bully Online is a GTA Online-inspired mod that provides multiplayer servers, where players can complete side quests, earn cash, trade items, race one another, or punch each other in brutal brawls.

While BullyMP has been cast aside for a few months now, Swegta and the development team appear keen to make Bully Online work. Speaking in his video, Swegta told fans that this is “our project and we’re able to do anything we want with it.” Suggesting players will be in for some wild mini-games and action.

Early Access Launch Details

Bully Online is launching in Early Access in December for those who support the game on Ko-fi. Otherwise the mod will release to everyone in “due time,” says Swegta.

Exact details of the Early Access and what to expect are unknown. However, Swegta does say that “some of the ideas that did not make it into BullyMP have been repurposed for this project.”
