About this game

Set in a dark cyberpunk world, the year is 2084! This is the time when a digital plague called the Nanophage killed thousands of people who augmented their minds and bodies. A war also erupted which shattered the land, leaving corporations to build their corrupt empires.

• You are an Observer, a neural detective named Daniel Lazarski. Using the Dream Eater, you are able to hack into the minds of anybody to search for clues and get anything that you would need for your investigation.
• Enjoy a thrilling cyberpunk story played in 4K resolution with upgraded textures, new models, effects, and animations. Plus everything has been redone with Ray-Tracing and HDR lighting.

Observer is the type of game where the narrative is less important than the experience of the overall journey. That is what Observer: System Redux is, a complete visual and auditory experience that will invoke physiological, psychological and intellectual response throughout the game play; or to put it in other words, you will likely jump out of your seat or experience some intense moments that make you feel alive.

One of the core debates within Observer: System Redux is whether augmentation makes recipients more or less. In the case of this enhanced edition of the acclaimed, dark cyberpunk tale, it’s definitely a case of more. Barring a few graphic and gameplay niggles, the developers have taken a cult indie classic and improved it further, providing a better balance of mystery thriller and psychological horror to accompany the brain-spearing next-gen visuals.

Critical Hit

If you haven’t played it already, and you really dig horror and sci-fi stories, then you should absolutely play this game. If you played it and enjoyed it the first time, like myself, then yes, you should totally play Observer again. If you are looking for a game to show off your new toy to your friends or specifically want to see what cool new things Bloober Team added to Observer: System Redux, then you can definitely skip this one.
