Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo joins Xbox Game Pass as a day-one launch on May 16, with a demo live now that carries progress to the full game.

Microsoft still hasn’t released the full list of Xbox Game Pass titles for May but that hasn’t stopped the service from growing. Previously, we already had seven titles confirmed for May, four of which are day-one launches. Now, that list just got a little longer. A new game is joining the Game Pass lineup and it’s launching day one too.

Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo Launches Day-One on Game Pass

Galla Games has now officially announced that Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo is set to launch on May 16, 2025. The game will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and Xbox Game Pass. This new reveal makes it the eighth confirmed Game Pass title for May and the fifth one launching on day one.

But you don’t need to wait until May 16 to try it. A public demo of the game is currently live on both Xbox and Steam. Even better, the demo was recently updated with new content and features. One of the biggest updates allows players to carry over their progress from the demo into the full game when it launches. Just keep in mind that this only works with the current version of the demo and not with any older versions you may have tried before.

Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo is a colorful adventure set in a Latin American-inspired afterlife, where you play as Kulebra, a “Bright Soul” tasked with helping spirits break free from endless daily cycles. Blending humor, mystery, and heartfelt storytelling, the game features puzzles, stealth, and detective work as you explore Limbo, uncover its secrets, and guide lost souls toward healing and peace. With a unique time system, lively characters, and a focus on empathy and discovery, it’s a vibrant mix of classic and modern adventure gameplay.
