Blizzard has rolled out a hotfix to prevent players from using exploits to gain an advantage in the newly released Ulduar raid.

Blizzard released the Ulduar raid and immediately moved to fix potential exploits that could see players reset raid cooldowns and gain permanent Heroism and Bloodlust while clearing trash mobs.

By engaging the raid boss alone, a player could then use an ability like Feign Death to drop combat and reset the raid for the rest of the 24-player group.

Considered an exploit and not a “creative use of game mechanics,” Blizzard has warned any players using these methods, as well as any terrain methods used to skip large portions of the raid, that they will ban anyone found using such them.

The developer has warned players they are watching the Ulduar raid closely and will immediately suspend players and even strip them of the realm’s first Death’s Demise titles.
