Final Fantasy 16 releases this month on PlayStation 5, but will it be on PC?

Square Enix is releasing the next major Final Fantasy entry, FFXVI, later this month, and it’s going to be a PS5 limited-time exclusive title.
There’s been a lot of noise recently as people wonder if Final Fantasy 16 will release on other platforms. Fortunately, producer Naoki Yoshida has moved to clear things up in a recent interview.
Final Fantasy 16 is listed as a six-month exclusive for the PS5, with a release date on other platforms given as December 31, 2023.
Yoshida, however, has now said the PC version will “not come out in half a year,” as all of the work has gone into ensuring the PS5 version is perfect for release day.
Although, he did go on to reassure everyone that they would work on a PC version once Final Fantasy 16 has released on the PlayStation 5. But It will take longer than six months.
How long will it take? Unfortunately, it took Square Enix two years to finish and optimize the PC version of Final Fantasy 15, so we could be in for a rather long wait to see FF16 on PC.
If you have a PS5, you can pre-order Final Fantasy 16 before its launch on June 22.
