Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Adds Popular Map for Free to Celebrate 10 Years of the Tide Series
Developer Fatshark is celebrating “10 Years of Tide” by adding a popular map from the original game to Warhammer: Vermintide 2, and players can earn double XP until November 30.
Celebrating the tenth birthday of Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide, Fatshark has released Return to the Reik to Warhammer: Vermintide 2, a completely reimagined version of the River Reik map from the first game.
The update is free to everyone across all platforms, and Fatshark is offering all heroes double XP this week as they return to “one of Vermintide 1’s most popular levels.”

Heroes returning to the Reik will find the map has significant changes with a focus on deck skirmishes that put boat-focused gameplay front and center.

Fatshark is celebrating the 2015 launch of Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide, and the studio is reaffirming its commitment to the series and Vermintide 2 with this latest update.
The Return to the Reik update also includes several bug fixes and a double XP event, which is running for a limited time until November 30, giving players a great opportunity to level up characters and unlock new rewards.
