Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is one of 2022’s most anticipated video games, and we got a glimpse of its gameplay at Summer Game Fest 2022.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide’s gameplay trailer at Summer Game Fest was only two minutes long, but it had everything we expect from a Warhammer game.
The gameplay trailer shows a snippet of a mission and highlights how gory Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will be at launch.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide follows Warhammer: Vermintide, and we see a lot of that influence in Darktide’s hack and slash mechanics.
At your disposal, you will have hammers, chainswords, knives, and all kinds of other melee weapons as you smash, cleave, and dismember enemies.
There are also ranged weapons that will quickly chew through foes as you cut through endless swarms of blood-thirsty Chaos forces.
Just like with Vermintide, you also have abilities that will help you and your team stay alive when things look grim.
There is not much information on Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, but we expect more details in the next couple of months ahead of its release.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide releases on September 13 for Xbox Series X and Series S and PC.
