Visions of Mana Fans Disappointed: No Game Pass Release in Sight
Community’s Reaction: Disappointment and Frustration
The upcoming Visions of Mana, the first mainline title in the Mana series in more than 15 years, will not be coming to Xbox Game Pass after all, says Microsoft.
Action RPG Visions of Mana is set to release in the Summer of 2024, and fans were rightly excited after an impressive preview at the Xbox Developer_Direct Showcase in early January. And that hype was built up when the Microsoft Store showed the game would be a day-one release on the Xbox Game Pass.
Unfortunately, that seems to have been a mistake, as a Microsoft spokesman has told Eurogamer: “We’re aware that Xbox.com included language that indicated Visions of Mana was coming to Xbox Game Pass and can confirm this was an error.”
Visions of Mana will still release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, but news that it won’t be immediately available on Xbox Game Pass will be a blow to a loyal fanbase looking forward to the first Mana game in over a decade.
