Ubisoft Is Shutting Down These Game servers

WHAT GAMES IS UBISOFT SHUTTING DOWN?

On September 1, Ubisoft is closing down servers for several of its games, just months after it closed nearly 100 more of its game servers.

Ubisoft closing the servers means you will not have access to online features such as multiplayer and DLC and won’t be able to link your Ubisoft account.

Game Servers Ubisoft Is Closing Down:

Anno 2070

Assassin’s Creed 2

Assassin’s Creed 3 (Original Game Only)

Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood

Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD

Assassin’s Creed Revelations

Driver: San Francisco

Far Cry 3 (Original Game Only)

Ghost Recon Future Soldier

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

Rayman Legends

Silent Hunter 5

Space Junkies (Game No Longer Playable)

Splinter Cell: Blacklist

ZombiU

The single-player campaigns for all these games will continue to work, but in the case of Space Junkies, you will no longer be able to play it because it is an online-only game.

Assassin’s Creed 3 and Far Cry 3 remastered versions will continue to work, but the original game servers will close.

Explaining the decision on a blog, Ubisoft said, “Closing the online services for some older games allows us to focus our resources on delivering great experiences for players who are playing newer or more popular titles.”

If you want to play these games in their entirety, you can do so until September 1.
