Turok Origins Leak Suggests a 2026 Release Based on a Now-Deleted LinkedIn Info
Turok Origins may be targeting 2026 after a deleted LinkedIn leak. With The Game Awards 2025 soon, a new reveal feels likely.
Turok Origins was unveiled at last year’s The Game Awards, and with the 2025 show arriving on December 11th, fans are naturally hoping for another big update. And now, it looks like that optimism might not be misplaced afterall since it is now being rumored for a 2026 release, which lines up perfectly with the idea of a fresh reveal or trailer at TGA.
Turok Origins Rumored To Release in 2026
Saber Interactive has been almost completely silent on Turok Origins since its announcement. Beyond the reveal trailer and a small handful of impressions from people who played it at Gamescom 2025, there’s been little to chew on with regards to it. No new footage, no dev updates, and no hint at a launch window. Not even a year.
That’s why a recent LinkedIn slip-up caused such a stir. A sound engineer at Saber Interactive reportedly listed three active projects on their profile: Turok Origins, Radikal Fighters for PS5, and an unannounced title. While it is now deleted, the Turok Origins entry also had a “(Forthcoming 2026)” info attached to it which, thankfully, Insider Gaming was able to capture.
Of course this doesn’t necessarily mean it will be revealed soon or in The Game Awards 2025. Still, considering Turok Origins was first revealed on The Game Awards stage and TGA’s reputation for big reveals, it wouldn’t be surprising if we see the game again on December 11th. And if the 2026 window is real, this year’s show feels like the best place for Saber to make it official.
Turok: Origins is a sci-fi action adventure where you play as legendary Turok warriors fighting to protect the galaxy from a deadly alien threat, taking down ferocious dinosaurs, monsters, and big bosses either solo or in co-op. Combat mixes guns, melee, and special abilities, with an arsenal that includes plasma rifles, ray guns, shotguns, and more, all upgradeable as you progress. A key twist is absorbing DNA from enemies and the environment to power up your suit, gain new skills, and boost your effectiveness on the fly.
The game is currently available to wishlist for PC via Steam, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
