#3: Minecraft in Real Life – That’s probably a stack of dirt

We’re starting off with a clip from real life. We all know Minecraft, and we all built our very first base out of dirt. Either underground or above ground. In the following clip, we see someone digging dirt with their bare hands. But not in Minecraft… In real life. WTF, that must hurt!



#2 Travellers Rest – Apparently the water has magical powers

The second clip is from the little indie game Travellers Rest. In the game, you run a medieval tavern and are responsible for food, drink, and even beds. You also have a little cat to care for. In the clip, the cat is drinking from its bowl and suddenly teleports to the room upstairs. Must be something in the water…

#1 Stardew Valley – The whole town recreated in LEGO

Last but not least, we have a clip from one of my favorite games: Stardew Valley. In the game, you inherit a farm and have to restore it. In the town, you can also interact with all the characters—and even marry some of them. This town, with the farm and everything that comes with it, was recreated 1:1 in LEGO by Steve Jensen. OMG I’d love to have that in my room, and I bet every Stardew Valley fan agrees!
