The Last of Us Part 1 is finally out on PC, but its players have been complaining of performance issues that Naughty Dog is focused on fixing.

THE LAST OF US PART 1 PC PORT SUFFERING FROM PERFORMANCE ISSUES

 

Naughty Dog and PlayStation have released The Last of Us Part 1 on PC, but its launch has been met with performance issues and crashes preventing many from the game.

The Last of Us is considered one of the greatest video games ever made, and its PlayStation version has always been heavily praised by critics and players, which has resulted in a demand for it on PC.

And after the HBO TV adaptation starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, the launch of The Last of Us Part 1 on PC was met with nothing but hype.

Unfortunately, since its release day, the game has been met with performance issues that have resulted in constant crashes to desktop and complete PC lock-ups.

Most of the issues have come from the game overloading the GPU and CPU, with some even forced to wait hours just for the shaders to load at the beginning of the game.

All the issues have seen The Last of Us Part 1 sit at “Mostly Negative” on Steam, with many unable to play the game even on high-end PCs.

  Is The Last of Us Worth Buying on PC?  

Naughty Dog has released a small patch that hasn’t seemed to fix things, but they have put out a statement on Twitter that read, “we’ve heard your concerns and our team is actively investigating several issues you’ve reported.”

Unfortunately, the fixes will come with future patches, and they didn’t reveal when those patches will come.

So fixes are coming, and hopefully soon.
