The upcoming ESO chapter adds more than 30 hours of content to the game and continues the year-long Gates of Oblivion adventure.
The expansion adds Blackzone as a new zone and is available to all characters regardless of level and faction.
The Blackwood also adds the following content:
Public Dungeons (Delves)
Cities, Settlements, and Farms
Caves, Mines, Ruins, and Crypts
Points of Interests
The Blackwood chapter introduces non-player companions to the game, who you can call to help you during your adventures.
Companions can be unlocked and acquired by completing specific quests, after which you can summon them to help you with quests, dungeons, and trials.
However, you can not summon your companion if you are in a PvP area, solo arena, or housing instance.
Your relationship with them will grow over time, and you can earn their approval by completing quests and performing actions.
You can also equip your companions with gear, abilities, and cosmetics.
While in combat, you can direct your companions by ordering them to attack or pull back. Companions will perform their ultimate when it’s available, or you can direct them to use it when you’re ready.
