What Does Take-Two’s 29-Game Roadmap Include?
Take-Two Interactive plans to release 29 games globally between Fiscal Years 2027 and 2029. This structural shift includes 15 established franchise titles, eight sports games, three mobile releases, and three brand-new intellectual properties.
According to the publisher’s official corporate financial reporting, the goal is to secure a diverse pipeline that does not rely exclusively on Rockstar Games. Management did note that this schedule represents a fluid roadmap, and individual titles could face delays or cancellations to meet internal quality standards.
Take-Two Interactive has confirmed plans to release six remakes, remasters, or platform expansions over the next few years as part of its roadmap through fiscal year 2029.

Which Sequels and Remakes Are in Development?
Grand Theft Auto 6 leads the sequel lineup, officially scheduled for release on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Additionally, Remedy Entertainment is currently developing full remakes of Max Payne 1 and 2 under the Take-Two publishing umbrella.
The remaining legacy projects are classified as platform extensions, remasters, or remakes. Six of these specific classic tributes are scheduled for release during Fiscal Years 2028 and 2029. The publisher is also maintaining its reliable annual sports revenue, confirming 2027 iterations for NBA 2K, WWE 2K, and PGA Tour 2K.
Are There Any Completely New Franchises Planned?
Take-Two is investing in three brand-new intellectual properties to balance its reliance on established classics. Two of these massive triple-A projects have been officially revealed: Judas from Ghost Story Games, and Project ETHOS from 31st Union.
The third original franchise remains strictly confidential. Corporate statements indicate it is being built to compete in the same tier as the publisher’s other premier blockbusters. Meanwhile, on the mobile front, three specialized titles are planned, with Zynga’s CSR 3 currently the only named project.
