What Does the June Dragon’s Dogma 2 Update Change?

The June 10 update for Dragon’s Dogma 2 drastically overhauls map traversal by introducing the reusable Eternal Ferrystone and placing new permanent Portcrystals in key locations like Melve and the Volcanic Island Camp. It also reduces sprint stamina drain outside of combat and expands Oxcart functionality to streamline exploration.

Players acquire the Eternal Ferrystone automatically by speaking to Captain Brant during the “Seat of the Sovran” quest. Those who have already completed this milestone will find the item deposited directly into their inventory upon loading the game.

Beyond fast travel, Capcom has adjusted the in-game economy, reducing normal Ferrystone prices from 10,000 to 5,000 gold. The update also adds a new Guardian specialization for Pawns, enabling them to repel camp ambushes and intercept Oxcart raids effectively.


Preparing for Dark Arisen: The Norgan Region

Capcom is strategically positioning these quality-of-life adjustments ahead of the Dark Arisen expansion, officially slated for October 9, 2026. This major content drop will introduce the Norgan region, a harsh northern territory featuring ice giants and frozen landscapes.

Alongside its release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC it will also finally bring the title on Nintendo Switch 2. With pre-orders across all platforms will include the Northern Attire fashion set.

Players can expect 12 new dungeon challenges scattered across the existing map. The expansion also implements expanded character customization, adding fresh tattoo and hairstyle options for both the Arisen and their Pawns.
