Syberia Remastered is the remastered version of the great graphic adventure classic by Microids. The French development and publishing team founded in 1985 is bringing us the remaster of the first chapter of the series. Originally released in 2002, it was created by the famous Belgian artist Benoît Sokal, taking us into the world of 1999 introduced with Amerzone.
Here, we’ll follow the adventures of lawyer Kate Walker, who is sent to France to oversee the acquisition of a family-owned automaton factory. This journey takes her on an adventure across Eastern Europe, discovering a new life. The remake was announced in May 2025 and confirmed for launch within the year. Syberia Remastered: Launch Date and Comparison Trailer Revealed
With a surprise announcement at Gamescom, Microids and Virtuallyz Gaming have finally unveiled the launch date for Syberia Remastered. The Remastered version of the famous first chapter of the graphic adventure series starring protagonist Kate Walker. Debutting on 6 November on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The Launch Date was revealed in a special Trailer, which puts the original and the Remastered version side-by-side for comparison. It invites us to explore the fantastic world created by Benoît Sokal, featuring fluid animations, a new yet faithful graphical overhaul, and a dynamic and immersive camera instead of a fixed one.
Syberia Remastered: Also Coming to VR and with a Physical Edition
Furthermore, along with the platform confirmation, the team also revealed something new. Syberia Remastered will also be coming to Meta Quest 3 with an exclusive VR version. This version will therefore be available only on Quest 3 starting from 13 November 2025.
Along with the reveal, the team also confirmed a Physical Limited Edition available only for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. You can already pre-order this edition, which includes the Remastered game with a physical copy accompanied by the Media Book, which contains the artwork from the new Edition. It’s priced at €39.99, with availability in other regions expanding soon.

This is fantastic news for long-time fans of the series. But also an incredible chance for many to finally try Syberia. In this new graphically remastered version that’s also available on Consoles.
