Twin-stick, co-op shooter fans have another game to get excited about after Kipi Interactive announced SunderBound, a new fast-paced, action-packed roguelite coming to PC via Steam.
The game is built exclusively for two players, and features procedurally generated levels, high-stakes boss battles, customizable loadouts, and intense action.
What Is SunderBound?
SunderBound throws players into a brutal and decaying dieselpunk world, where they will play as two rebels battling to the top of a dystopian mega-structure, lorded over by a tyrant known as The Minister.
The higher players climb, the more chaotic the floors become. Speed and agility are your only chance of survival. The twin-stick controls require perfect precision and reflexes, making it an intense fight to survive the relentless waves of enemies that spawn on each floor.
Gameplay Features and Co-Op Focus
Designed to be played in pairs, players will enter SunderBound alone with an AI companion or with a friend, either online or in couch co-op mode. As a duo, players will sync perks, cover each other’s backs, and push forward together despite overwhelming odds.
Each run is different, with procedurally generated enemy spawns, loot, and perks. Players can either purchase new gear during their climb or craft it, customizing their playstyle as they push through factories, medical bays, and other broken and decaying locations.
