Enjoying the Star Wars Battlefront Beta? Well, if you are, you are definitely not alone, as this game is getting some rave reviews from all over the internet! And to top it all off, EA just recently posted some great news in their latest forum post in the official Star Wars Battlefront website. As they will be conducting “further technical tests on [their] infrastructure”, the Beta is fortunately getting a one-day extension and will end on October 13th, instead of the original October 12th schedule.

The post read:

Hope you’re enjoying the Star Wars Battlefront beta and thank you for playing – every time you log on, it’s helping us ensure the experience is going to be great at launch. As we get into the late stages of the beta, we will begin conducting further technical tests on our infrastructure. These additional tests will start on Monday, October 12 and will run thru Tuesday, October 13th, which will add an additional day to the open Beta. These tests are to help us find some extreme scenarios, and that means some players may experience occasional issues such as being kicked from the game or losing connectivity. This is all being done in the name of shoring up our infrastructure before we launch on November 17th. Please continue to provide your feedback around the Beta and we look forward to seeing you on the battlefront in November.

This is something that we all are definitely welcoming with open arms, as the one day extension will not only give us more time to play the game, but also give the developers ample time to make the game EVEN better.

Set to be released on November 17th, Star Wars Battlefront is available on Origin for PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4.
