Compulsion Games announced that South of Midnight will be launching on Playstation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 on March 31.

Compulsion Games’s highly rated action-adventure game, South of Midnight, has been announced to officially launch on Playstation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 on March 31. This release comes just short of its first year anniversary.

 

South of Midnight Announced for PS5 and Switch 2

It’s about time for PS5 and Switch 2 players to enjoy the masterpiece that is South of Midnight. Its high ratings, critical acclaim, and multiple award nominations can attest to it. Don’t sleep on the soundtrack too, massive applause to that.

The game is set to debut on both platforms on March 31, 2026. The announcement made by developer Compulsion Games was anticipated but still a bit surprising given that it has not yet crossed its first year anniversary. Many Xbox first-party titles usually end their exclusivity in the first year before jumping over other platforms. But hey, no complaints here.

Together with the confirmation are official trailers for both PS5 and Switch 2. No mention if there are platform-specific adjustments or improvements.

As for file size, it currently holds roughly 58GB on Xbox and PC, so PS5 can count on that as well. As for Switch 2, it should be less than that. The actual download size will become available as soon as preload starts.
