Scars Above is an action-adventure game where you play as Dr. Kate Ward, a scientist stranded on an alien world after an exploration mission from Earth goes wrong.
Scars Above’s gameplay is compared to Returnal by many, which isn’t too far off as you will be exploring and experimenting with weapons to find the best way to tackle enemies.
Throughout your journey, which will see you travel across marshlands, freezing wastelands, and underground taverns, you will constantly be scanning your surroundings to extract information from alien artifacts and materials.
The knowledge you gain from researching your surroundings will allow you to craft new weapons and unlock abilities that will help you defeat giant bosses.
Scars Above is ultimately a game all about exploration and action, and you can get your hands on it now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
