Red Dead Redemption 2 Sales Reach 45 Million
Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2 reaches 45 million copies sold, according to Take-Two Interactive’s Q1 FY 2023 financial report.

RED DEAD REDEMPTION SELLS 45 MILLION COPIES
Rockstar Games recently slowed development on Red Dead Online and canceled the current-gen version of the game to focus on GTA 6.
But that hasn’t stopped Red Dead Redemption 2 to keep selling, and now Take-Two has revealed the game has sold over 45 million copies worldwide.
That number represents a million more copies sold since May’s last report, revealing that RDR2 had sold 44 million copies.
According to The NPD Group, an American market research company, Red Dead Redemption 2 is the second best-selling game of the last five years.
The continued success of Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA V will give Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive further confidence ahead of GTA 6’s expected release in 2025.
