Stardust and Candies. Stardust is a resource in Pokémon Go. You can earn this by catching Pokémons. Candies can be earned by transferring your duplicate Pokémons to Professor Willow. You will in turn get candies for that specific species. You will need both to Evolve your Pokémons.

Eggs

Eggs are Pokémons that has not hatched yet. You will need an egg incubator to hatch them, along with a certain number of steps from 2, 5, 10 kms. The longer the distance the more chances of a rare Pokémon.

PokéStops. These are points of interest that you will find in your adventures. These usually are interesting landmarks. Finding these will give you great items like PokéBalls and Eggs.

Gym Battles

As you travel, you will come across Pokémon Gyms. These will be made available to those who have reached Level 5 (Players level up with experience points) Gyms are where you can battle with other Pokémons. Upon entering a gym, you will be made to choose from 3 factions: Red – Team Valor, Blue – Team Mystic and yellow Yellow – Team Instinct. If a gym is owned by a different team, you can battle with them to lower the Gym’s prestige. If these reaches zero you will be able to acquire the gym for your team. If this this reaches zero you will be able to acquire the gym for your team and deposit a Pokémon to guard it.
